Editorial: New book describes an intriguing "what if" for Omaha history
A project of the District of Nebraska branch of the Historical Society of the United States Courts in the Eighth Circuit culminated in the February 2019 release by the University of Nebraska Press of a published history of the district. Echo of Its Time traces the development of the court from its inception in 1867 through 1933 while discussing the careers and cases of its first four judges: Elmer Dundy, William Munger, Thomas Munger (no relation), and Joseph Woodrough.
