Introduction

The purpose of environmental law is to protect the eco-system, and as a result humans, from harm resulting from both public and private actions. Environmental law (Westlaw: FENV-ALL, Lexis: ENVIRN) consists of two categories: Conservation and Environment which contains three subcategories: Energy (Westlaw: EN-TP, Lexis: ENERGY), Land use, and Pollution.
