First Amendment
Cornell's Legal Information Institute has a great overview of first amendment law with helpful links**. Findlaw has a nice outline of U.S. Code case annotations through 1992. The First Amendment Center, hosted by Vanderbilt University, provides recent news, current and historical case information, and analytical essays/reports. The University of Minnesota's 1st Amendment Online site is another helpful resource that provides major cases through early 2004 along with a wealth of historical materials and analytical reports.

Some helpful print resources that the library holds: First Amendment Law in a Nutshell (KF 4770 .Z9 S38); First Amendment Law Handbook (annual update of first amendment issues; KF 4770 .A15 F57). Check WebCat for locations! Westlaw has some handy first amendment databases: FCFA-CS will allow you to search all federal first amendment cases, and CFA-TP will allow you to search for documents from various first amendment texts, journals, and periodicals.

The First Amendment Law Review is a fairly new title from the University of North Carolina, but worth keeping an eye on!

** The Cornell site is being moved to a new server, so it may be temporarily inaccessible at times.
