Bio: Sharon Carril, Library Clerk, St. Louis
My name is Sharon Carril, and I am one of the
newest staff members of the 8th Circuit, the
part-time library clerk at the St. Louis Library.
A while back I worked as a clerk for one the St.
Louis Public Library's busiest branches. The
work days were usually bustling, sometimes
crazy but always enjoyable. After 5 or so years, I
made the very hard decision to quit and stay
home with my three (still young) sons, Matthew,
Tommy, and Tim. Those were good times. As
my sons grew up (almost. . . Tim, the youngest,
is now 21), I began working at a rectory (priest's
house/office), and attending the University of
Missouri, graduating with a degree in English.
My interests are mostly spending time with my
husband, Mike, and my sons. I enjoy baking,
walking, reading almost anything, and writing.
I am so pleased to be working here; I love
libraries, am interested in law and history, and
everyone in the 8th Circuit has been helpful and
kind. What could be better? I look forward to
many interesting years here.
