New Library Assistant for Cedar Rapids!
Joy Osmundson has been hired to be a Library Assistant for our Cedar Rapids branch library. Joy holds a B.A. in Sociology from Mt. Mercy College in Cedar Rapids and has been working at the Cedar Rapids Public Library as a Library Materials and Reference Assistant since 1997.
Joy will begin training on November 1. After this period of training and orientation by Cheryl Gritton, our Des Moines branch librarian, Joy will be available to help court staff in Cedar Rapids with reference, book purchases, subscriptions, excess, maintenance of chambers sets, and Westlaw and Lexis passwords. Beginning November 8, Joy’s schedule will be 9:00 - 4:00 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 9:00 - 5:00 on Thursdays. Welcome, Joy!
