New Judge for W.D. of Arkansas: Timothy L. Brooks

On Wednesday, March 5, the U.S. Senate voted unanimously to confirm Timothy Lloyd Brooks as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Western District of Arkansas. He fills the vacancy left by Judge Jimm L. Hendren who
assumed senior status December 2012.

Judge Brooks received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville in 1986 and his law degree with honors from University of Arkansas School of Law - Fayetteville in 1989.

He began his legal career in private practice at the firm of Taylor Law Partners in Fayetteville, where he has worked until this appointment to the federal bench. In his practice he focused on complex civil litigation in federal and state courts, commercial law, and medical malpractice.
