Former Library Staff Doing Great Things!

Ty Fagan, son of Assistant U.S. Attorney Mike Fagan, worked as a library intern for the St. Louis headquarters library during three recent summers. He recently graduated summa cum laude from Truman State University. He majored in Philosophy, Religion and English, and minored in Greek and French. He will continue his studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where he has been admitted as a doctoral candidate. He plans to continue his research on artificial intelligence, neuroscience, the relationship of consciousness, computability and mathematics, and the branch of philosophy known as philosophy of mind. Go Ty!

Naama Goldstein, who worked for the St. Louis library for a short time a few years ago, has published a collection of stories about American and Israeli Jews called “The Place Will Comfort You”. You can find more info about the book and some reviews at http://www.naamagoldstein.com.
