Judge Richard S. Arnold to Receive AIC Award!
The American Inns of
Court Foundation has
selected Judge Richard S.
Arnold to receive the 2004
Lewis Powell, Jr. Award
for Professionalism and
Ethics.
Previous recipients of the Lewis Powell, Jr.
Award include Judge Patricia M. Wald of the
U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit,
Justice Anthony M. Kennedy of the U.S.
Supreme Court, and Judge Warren K. Urbom of
the District of Nebraska.
The American Inns of Court Foundation is a
legal organization that seeks to foster excellence
in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal
skills for judges, lawyers, academicians, and
students of law. The Foundation endeavors to
transmit these values from one generation of
lawyers to the next in order to perfect the quality,
availability, and efficiency of justice in the
United States.
The award will be presented to Judge Arnold on
October 16, 2004, in Washington D.C.
