Fargo Branch Librarian to Retire

Suzanne Morrison, our Fargo Branch Librarian, will retire on September 30, 2015. Suzanne has been with the library since 1986.

During Suzanne’s 29 years with the court, she provided library services in both North and South Dakota. In addition to her library work, she served as an instructor for the Federal Judicial Center’s structured writing program. She regularly partnered with court and law enforcement offices to offer outreach and educational events for the legal and general communities.

In 2007, Suzanne received AALL’s Spirit of Law Librarianship Award for her work abroad with the ABA/Central and Eastern European Law Initiative and USAID. In 2010 she received the North Dakota Bar Association’s Liberty Bell Award, the bar association’s highest honor given in recognition of service to the legal community by someone who is not a lawyer.

Suzanne will be greatly missed by court staff in the Dakotas and the entire 8th Circuit Library system. We wish her much happiness in her retirement!

Congratulations, Mrs. Morrison!
