2007 Annual Report
The Western District of Missouri Branch of the Historical Society is in
the process of reorganizing. In the last month, approximately 75
new members have been recruited. An organizational meeting will be
scheduled for early fall, this year. A new board and new officers will
be elected. The newly elected leadership will then set the priorities
and goals for the branch.
It is our hope that the new members will bring renewed energy to
the branch and that the branch will undertake projects compatible with
preserving and disseminating the history of the Western District of
Missouri and such other purposes consistent with those of the Eighth
Circuit Historical Society.
