Circuit
Western District of Arkansas Branch |
2003 Annual Report of the Western District of Arkansas
Branch
of the Historical Society of the
United States Courts in the Eighth Circuit
Unfortunately, at this time our branch has neither funds nor members,
and therefore very little in the way of activities. Judge Hendren has,
however, been instrumental in having display boxes installed
and pictures hung in the foyer of the Fifth Floor Courtroom in the
Fayetteville Courthouse, and we now have portraits of Judge Miller,
Judge Waters, Judge Jones and Judge Shepherd on display, as well
as a wonderful group portrait of Judges Barnes, Waters, Hendren
and Dawson, all in two fine lighted cases. While this is not a project
directly growing out of branch activities, it does preserve
and enhance the history of the District.
